Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

SubGen offers digital subtitle generation services. Because our services are delivered digitally and consumed immediately upon processing, our refund policy is limited. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Monthly Subscription Plans

  • Monthly plans (Starter, Creator, Pro) are one-time payments valid for 30 days.
  • Plans are non-refundable once purchased and quota has been partially or fully used.
  • If you have not used any quota and request a refund within 24 hours of purchase, we will process a full refund at our discretion.
  • Plans do not auto-renew. You will not be charged automatically after 30 days.
  • Unused quota from a monthly plan does not carry over after the plan period ends.

3. Top-Up Credits

  • Top-up credits are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Credits never expire and remain in your account until used.
  • If a technical error on our part causes credits to be incorrectly deducted without a completed processing job, those credits will be automatically restored to your account.

4. Automatic Refunds for Processing Failures

If your video fails to process after credits have been deducted, credits are automatically refunded to your account within minutes. This applies to both subscription quota and top-up credits. You can immediately retry processing without any additional payment.

5. Duplicate Payments

If you were charged twice for the same transaction due to a technical error, please contact us at support@subgen.in with your payment ID. We will verify and refund the duplicate charge within 5–7 business days.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@subgen.in with:

  • Your registered email address
  • Razorpay Payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email)
  • Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

7. Cancellations

Since SubGen does not offer auto-renewing subscriptions, there is nothing to "cancel." Your plan simply expires after 30 days and you return to the free tier. You can stop using the service at any time.
